The Charming Hooligans – Permanent Site Closure.
Posted: 04/06/2011 Filed under: Gaming, Words Leave a comment »In case you didn’t see this (even though most of you probably came HERE through this), the website I have ran for 5 years was today closed for good. I decided the fate of the site sometime two weeks ago but I was too lazy to even pull the plug – a vice the group shared, which was one of the several factors leading to it’s closure. We had a good run, somehow surviving the time we did in the face of zero interest from the public and losses of thousands of pounds (BUSINESS!), but we’re finally ready to throw in the towel.

The members of Charming Hooligans are moving on with careers, starting careers, or still dancing around in their underwear from dawn ’til dusk – with nothing to show for any of it.
We all have our personal blogs and Twitter feeds going, and we still plan to be gamers until the end of time, but this particular enterprise (and probably the only time in my life I’ll ever show entrepreneurial initiative) was doomed from the start by distractions, lack of funds, lack of an audience and the complete bone-idleness of the entire Hooligan crew. I still plan to write on this blog and on Twitter, but not so much about gaming which may lose me 250 followers overnight.
We’d like to thank everyone who supported us, whether it be for the last 5 years, 1 year, or 1 week, and in the same breath apologise for subjecting you to it all.
Peace!
